S.M.A.C.K. (Summer Music & Arts Camps for Kids), is a two week Summer Day Camp designed for young people from 1st through 10th grade. Through workshops, rehearsals, and lots of fun, SMACK introduces students to the wonderful world of music and theatre.

The most important lesson that campers learn at SMACK is the value of being a part of an ensemble or team.

 

Teamwork is the essential quality of great theatre. Campers are able to be involved in every part of the theatre experience from auditions, to dancing, to stagecraft, and of course, performing. At the end of the two-week camp, the campers present a high-quality broadway style show that demonstrates what the campers have learned during the camp.

 

The SMACK staff consists of talented and educated personnel with many years of experience in the performing arts. School Teachers, College Professors, Music Directors, Dance and Voice instructors all make up the staff of SMACK. Each team member is dedicated to providing a safe, exciting, and educational experience for each student.
